After an initial steep descent\, you’ll reach a serene small pool\, perfect for a night’s camp. Replenish your energy here\, then ascend the next peak on the ridge\, followed by a somewhat lower peak. Descend to a col that offers a comfortable camping spot\, all within a day’s reach from Nairobi. This segment from Lesatima takes between one and two hours. \nFrom this col\, continue to the next high point\, and make a sharp right turn toward the rock castle (mentioned in route one). Descend into a picturesque valley and then ascend the side of the ridge leading you to the majestic Table Mountain. An alternative route involves continuing straight on before veering right to follow a subsidiary ridge that leads into the basin at the head of the valley. From there\, ascend the ridge’s side and follow it to the summit. The final push from the campsite to Table Mountain takes between two and three hours. \nA Weekend Adventure Awaits\nBelieve it or not\, you can embark on this thrilling Table Mountain adventure over a weekend\, starting from Nairobi.
